We have rolling lesson enrollment throughout the school year and would be happy to chat about our current lesson openings any time. We enjoyed a wonderful recital week the first week of April with about 60 of our students performing! Now we are gearing up for an event to benefit underprivileged kids throughout Portland by bringing arts and music to their schools through the nonprofits Vibe of Portland and Music Access Project of Portland. Email or call for information, we have five families committed so far to helping us make this event a huge success. We need donations, ushers, student performers, and connections to potential donors. You can help our students have a direct impact on the arts in our city!

Rose City Music Academy serves Oregon communities in and around the Portland Metro area. Our accomplished faculty provide caring instruction in violin, viola, cello, piano, guitar, voice, music theory and composition to students ages three and up. We teach private and group lessons in multiple locations and have options available both during the day and after school hours. We also provide Suzuki parent training classes, theory workshops for kids and facilitate continuing education for area string teachers.
We firmly believe every child (and adult!) can benefit from quality music education. We emphasize the development and enjoyment of diligent practice, supportive involvement of parents and successful performance experiences. Music is a fun and creative way to connect with and encourage your child. Our groups and private lessons take place from Forest Grove to downtown Portland to Gresham. If you are considering music lessons, let us help you decide on the program that will work best for your entire family.
