Robin Dubay has been part of the Portland musical community for 36 years, both as a performer and teacher.  She has always maintained a private studio, but has also taught violin and chamber music at Pacific University in Forest Grove.  A graduate of Willamette University in Salem, Robin has studied with Raphael Spiro, Amy Barlowe, Leah Frajola, and Italo Peter Frajola.

Robin has performed with most of the major musical ensembles in Oregon, including the Oregon Symphony, Portland Opera, Oregon Ballet Theatre orchestra, Oregon Bach Festival, and the Peter Britt Festival.  For 29 years she played period violin with the acclaimed Portland Baroque Orchestra.

Robin seeks to establish a positive, productive relationship with each of her students and with their parents.  She strives to demonstrate well, communicate clearly, and develop a course of study tailored to the individual student.  Her greatest wish is to promote the joy and sense of accomplishment that come from playing the violin, and from collaborating with others.
