sarah Roth, violin

Sarah Roth joined the Oregon Symphony in the fall of 2004. Before moving to Portland, she played with the St. Louis Symphony for two seasons, the previous 10 years having lived and worked as a free-lance musician in Boston. During that time Roth was the violinist for the Mark Morris Dance Group, touring the U.S. and abroad. She has an undergraduate diploma with distinction in performance from the New England Conservatory of Music.

A dedicated Suzuki Method instructor, Ms. Roth has extensive training and regularly participates in teaching workshops.

She teaches for Rose City Music Academy at a studio in Northwest Portland and has also coached chamber music and violin groups at our summer camps.
